RESEARCH & INSIGHTS
Hear from Black Geographers
There is a lack of research aimed at black students within geography so we're creating our own and giving black students a platform to speak up and be heard.

OUR RESEARCHER
Cynthia brings together existing data, as well as findings from the organisation’s ongoing research, to understand how Black students of all ages and backgrounds are engaging with geography.
Cynthia studied BA Geography at LSE, and wrote her final thesis about the transnational geographies of death and burial in the Igbo diaspora. Her primary area of interest is cultural geography, which she intends to explore further through a Masters in Social and Cultural Analysis. Cynthia believes that geography offers young people new ways to engage with and change the world around them.
