INTERNSHIPS
The Fi Wi Road Internship returns this year with another exciting opportunity for Black and mixed-Black heritage geography students. Funded by the RGS and University of Birmingham, we will be supporting 4 pre-career researchers (PCRs) in paid part-time internships, from June-September.
This year the internship focusses on both our pasts and futures. Interns will work alongside the Society for Caribbean Studies (SCS) on a collaborative archival project, as well as develop their own one-day 'Geography Futures' student conference, in collaboration with students from the University of Birmingham. The internship will provide learning opportunities through group sessions, one-to-one mentoring, skills workshops, and hands-on conference administration.
